Bridal Headpiece

A bride to be brought this unique headpiece into my workshop. She was quite distressed as she had spent alot of money on it and it hadn't quite lived up to her expectations.
Whilst the beading was beautiful and intricate it didn't actually fit around her head and it had a lot of excess netting which needed to come off.

I started by removing the excess netting to make the beading stand out more. I then removed the grips, which were not working for this particular headpiece, and added a gorgeous vintage button to fasten the sides together. It then fitted the bride perfectly.
